Debunking Douglas Dietrich: The Don Mastick Lie

Douglas Dietrich devotes the entire month of August to spread his revisionist lies regarding the outcome of World War II and use of atomic weapons against  Japan.

Dietrichs' latest show included a bizarre story involving a young chemist working at Los Alamos named Don Mastick.  Dietrich alleged that Mastick "inhaled a vile of U-235", (which is Uranium - NOT Plutonium). Uranium was used in the first bomb and plutonium in the second - but Dietrich has these facts  mixed-up. Dietrich cursed Masticks' eventually living to be 80 or 90 years old and said "They gave him laxatives to make him shit out the plutonium,  then they boiled Masticks' shit to extract the plutonium"

Dietrich claims that the project could not complete the bomb without extracting  "the only plutonium available in the entire world" needed to complete the bomb from Mastick.. Dietrich said that the "smell was so bad they had to fly Mastick to Tinian Island as he continued to shit it out. "

A bit of searching reveals that there are more than one source to refute Dietrichs' claim.
